Because of the Nutcracker Ballet performance on Sunday, December 9th, we will not be holding XLD2 or XLE Irish classes that day. All Dancenter classes are canceled from Tuesday, December 4th through Saturday, December 8th, and the cancellations had been built into the schedule. The classes on December 9th were not built in, therefore we will be offering makeups for that day.

To make up these classes, we will extend each class by 30 minutes on Sunday, December 16th, and Sunday, January 6th, 2013.

XLD2/XLE soft shoe will meet from 2:00-3:30pm, and XLD2/XLE hard shoe will meet from 3:30-5:00pm on those days.

To celebrate the holidays, there are no scheduled classes from December 22nd through January 2nd, 2013.

The Dancenter Instructors and Managers

Due to a prior family commitment, Bryanna will not be teaching classes on Sunday, November 11th.

To make up the class time we will extend each class by 30 minutes on Sunday, November 18th and Sunday, December 2nd. Soft shoe will meet from 2:00-3:30 pm on both days, and hard shoe will meet from 3:30-5:00 pm each day.
 

 9/24/12 The Int/Adv Adult Ballet Wednesday 7pm-8pm class, and the Adult Modern Wednesday 8pm-9pm will not meet this Wednesday, September 26. Both classes will be made up next Wednesday, October 3, at their regular class times.

The Hip Hop class that was canceled on Monday, February 20 will be made up this Friday, March 23 from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the South studio.

In order for everyone to fully enjoy Spring Break, Irish classes scheduled for Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18th are being rescheduled for Saturday, March 24th and Sunday, March 25th at their regularly-scheduled times.

The Adult Tap Monday 8:45pm class was scheduled to begin a new session this evening, February 20. However, the instructor is ill, and we need to cancel the class. The class will begin next week, February 27, and to make-up for tonight's cancellation, 15 minutes will be added to the class for the first four weeks, and so will meet from 8:45pm-10pm.

Due to a conflict, Taylor is unable to teach the Hip Hop Monday 4:45pm class on February 20th, so class is canceled for that day. A make-up will be scheduled at a later date.

We would like to remind you that Irish classes for this Saturday, February 18th, and Sunday, February 19th have been rescheduled for Saturday, February 25th, and Sunday, February 26th.

We will also hold classes the weekend of March 3rd and 4th at the regular times.

IPT will meet this Saturday 2/18 from 3:30-5:30pm at SOUTH to work with Clare.

 

Hope has a conflict on January 29, and will be unable to teach the Jazz/Funk class that day. In order to makeup for this cancellation, she will add 15 minutes to the next four times the class meets. Therefore, class will begin at 10:45am on the following dates:

Due to a conflict, Taylor needs to reschedule the Hip Hop class for this Monday, January 2nd. Class will be held that day, but it will meet from 3:45pm-4:45pm. Hip Hop will return to its regularly scheduled 4:45pm time on January 9th.

Maureen will be holding an optional rehearsal for the SAMJLC11 Jazz/Lyrical C Monday 5:45pm class today, Wednesday, June 8, at the WEST location (134 Dotson) from 4:45pm-6:00pm for any dancers who are able to make it. There is no charge for this additional class rehearsal.
 

Clare will be out of town on Tuesday, May 31. All Irish classses WILL be held that day, and run by the assistants. However, as it is close to recital, Clare does not want to miss out on the rehearsal time with her students, so she will be offering classes on Thursday, May 26 as well, at no extra charge. Dear Parents,

It’s hard to believe that recital is just a little more than a month away.

Since both of my Monday pre-school/kindergarten classes will be dancing together for their performance, I would like to have the kids practice together so that they are comfortable with each other.

The dates I have chosen for these practices are:
May 9
May 16
May 23
June 6

I would like my 5:45-6:45 class to stay an extra 15 minutes (until 7:00pm). And I would like my 6:45-7:45 class to come 15 minutes earlier (at 6:30pm). This will give us 30 minutes each time to focus on our recital pieces.

There will be no charge for the extra time.

Adult Tap Monday 7:45pm and Adult Beginning Ballet Monday 8:45pm have been canceled for Monday, January 10. The instructor comes from out of town and is unable to make it due to the weather. These classes will be made-up by adding a class at the end of the session on February 21.

SAFPKG11 Ballet/Tap/Gym Friday 11am has a schedule change for this week. On Friday, September 17 the class will meet from 9:30am-10:30am. Class will go back to its regular 11am time on September 24.

All Sunday Irish classes WILL be held on March 14th at their regular times, to make-up for the classes that will NOT be held on April 4th (Easter Sunday.) Also, please remember that March 21st is a regular class day, and classes will be held as scheduled.

Due to a family emergency, Vanessa has to cancel her gymnastics classes in Story City for this evening, March 8. They will be made-up this Friday, March 12th. In addition, the Tumbling 1 & Tumbling 2 classes that were canceled on February 8th, will also be made-up March 12th. The make-up schedule is:

As our two Story City  PK Ballet/Tap classes will be performing together in the recital, we would like to combine the two classes into one class so they may rehearse together. Beginning next week, March 2, we would like the students from CDTPK2 Ballet/Tap Tuesday 4:45pm to come to class on Tuesdays from 5:30pm-6:15pm instead. 

Due to illness, Vanessa will be unable to teach her gymnastics classes today, Wednesday, February 10,  including the Monday Tumble Tots Make-up class that was scheduled for today. All of today's classes will be made-up Friday, February 12th at their regular times. This includes:

Lisa is unable to teach Adult Tap Thursday 7:45pm this week (February 11.) It will be made-up on Thursday, March 11 at the regular time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Due to the weather, Allie has canceled her XLC Irish Softshoe (7pm) & Hardshoe (8pm) classes for this evening, Tuesday, February 9. They will be made-up on THURSDAY, March 25. The softshoe class will be at 4:45pm, followed by the hardshoe class at 5:45pm.

Due to the weather, all classes at the Story City location have been canceled for Tuesday, February 9. The DANCE classes will be made-up on Tuesday of Spring Break (March 16) at their regular times. GYMNASTIC students may make-up at their convenience during regularly scheduled  class times. In addition, gym team classes will be extended on Thursday, February 11, and meet from 5pm-9pm, so students may make-up during that additional time, as well.

Due to the weather, all classes in Story City  & Ames have been canceled for Monday, February 8.  Makeups are as follows:

Ames classes will be made-up Monday of Spring Break (March 15th) at the regular times. EXCEPT SBMXE XLE Pointe will meet from 12pm-3pm that afternoon, rather than in the evening, and Adult Ballet & Adult Jazz will be made-up on March 1st at the regular times.

Story City DANCE classes will be made-up Thursday, February 11 at the regular times

Story City GYMNASTICS: The CGMTT Tumble Tots Monday 4:30pm will be made up Wednesday, February 10 at 4:30pm. The make-ups for CGMT1 Tumbling 1 Monday 5pm & CGMT2 Tumbling 2 Monday 6pm will be Friday, March 12th at 4pm (CGMT1) & 6pm (CGMT2.)
