The Adult Ballet and Adult Jazz classes (6 week sessions) that were to begin tonight, will start next Tuesday, March 5 and run for 6 weeks (no class March 19 due to Spring Break)

Makeups may be done any time at your convenience, before recital.

 We would like to remind you of the location change for the Saturday XLC2 Irish classes. Starting this Saturday, January 5th, the classes will be held at Dancenter South (319 South 17th St.). They will be held at this location through the remainder of our dance year. Classes will continue to be held as before: soft shoe from 1:00-2:00 pm, and hard shoe from 2:00-3:00 pm. Scheduled Tuesday classes will continue to meet at Dancenter West at their regularly-scheduled times.

Because of the Nutcracker Ballet performance on Sunday, December 9th, we will not be holding XLD2 or XLE Irish classes that day. All Dancenter classes are canceled from Tuesday, December 4th through Saturday, December 8th, and the cancellations had been built into the schedule. The classes on December 9th were not built in, therefore we will be offering makeups for that day.

To make up these classes, we will extend each class by 30 minutes on Sunday, December 16th, and Sunday, January 6th, 2013.

XLD2/XLE soft shoe will meet from 2:00-3:30pm, and XLD2/XLE hard shoe will meet from 3:30-5:00pm on those days.

To celebrate the holidays, there are no scheduled classes from December 22nd through January 2nd, 2013.

The Dancenter Instructors and Managers

 11/11/12 Due to a prior family commitment, Bryanna will not be teaching classes on Sunday, November 11th. To make up the class time we will extend each class by 30 minutes on Sunday, November 18th and Sunday, December 2nd. Soft shoe will meet from 2:00-3:30 pm on both days, and hard shoe will meet from 3:30-5:00 pm each day.

In order for everyone to fully enjoy Spring Break, Irish classes scheduled for Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18th are being rescheduled for Saturday, March 24th and Sunday, March 25th at their regularly-scheduled times.

We would like to remind you that Irish classes for this Saturday, February 18th, and Sunday, February 19th have been rescheduled for Saturday, February 25th, and Sunday, February 26th.

We will also hold classes the weekend of March 3rd and 4th at the regular times.

IPT will meet this Saturday 2/18 from 3:30-5:30pm at SOUTH to work with Clare.

 

Clare will be out of town on Tuesday, May 31. All Irish classses WILL be held that day, and run by the assistants. However, as it is close to recital, Clare does not want to miss out on the rehearsal time with her students, so she will be offering classes on Thursday, May 26 as well, at no extra charge. We apologize for the last-minute notice. Allie Arends is unable to teach this weekend because her boss asked her to attend an important conference this weekend in New York.

Therefore, we need to cancel IPT, XLB ss, XLB hs, XLC2 ss, and XLC2 hs for Saturday, May 7th. We will however, be holding classes for XLD1 and XLD2 on Sunday, May 8th.

Allie has rescheduled the classes (with her) for Friday, May 20th. That day XLB ss will meet at 4:00pm and XLB hs will meet at 5:00pm. IPT will meet from 5:00-6:00pm, and XLC2 will meet from 7:00-9:00pm.

Due to the weather conditions, Dancenter Performance (studio) classes as well as Adult Session classes, have been canceled for today, Tuesday, February 1. However, Dancenter Dancers classes WILL be held for those students who can make it. Session classes will be extended an extra week and go through March 1. Make-up options for Performance classes will be determined, and posted at rtdance.com.
 

Make-ups have been scheduled for the January 11 Irish classes that were canceled due to weather. The XLC1 classes may make-up their cancellation anytime before the end of the year in the XLC2 Saturday classes (Soft shoe at 3pm, and hard shoe at 4pm.)  We are very sorry, but we have to cancel all of the Irish classes scheduled for tonight, (Thursday, August 12.) Allie is in Minneapolis, and still having car trouble, so she is unable to get back to Ames to teach. No make-ups will be scheduled. Accounts will be credited for this canceled class. Unfortunately, due to lack of registration the Irish Performance Team Summer Intensive that was to be held Friday, August 6th, has been canceled

The WDTRIAB Irish Soft & Hardshoe Tues 6pm class that was canceled on June 22nd will be made-up on MONDAY July 12th at 5pm. The WDTRXI Irish Soft & Hardshoe Tues 7pm class that was canceled June 22nd will be made-up on July 12th at 6pm.
